Safari Live at Great Yarmouth Racecourse brings together six flat races and family entertainment on Sunday 30 August 2026. The programme lists life-sized safari characters, face painting, hair braiding, a fun fair and a Fire Brigade charity presence.
Use the current times as a guide
The fixture page currently shows gates at 12:15, the first race at 14:15 and the last race at 17:10. All three are marked TBC, so check again before arranging transport or later plans.
Family admission and picnic choices
Children aged 17 and under are listed as free with an accompanying adult, with exclusions potentially applying. Picnics are permitted in the Grandstand/Paddock area, while outside alcohol is prohibited.
Plan access around the real site conditions
The racecourse lists accessible parking, raised viewing platforms, lift access and accessible toilets. It also says parking spaces are limited and the nearby surface includes grass and uneven ground.
Any Marine Parade meal should be treated as a separate later choice.
